After a night sleeping in Newsham Park, and a visit from a big fan of the Little Girl Giant, the Giants were on the move across the city, but not before Grandma had a nip of whisky and a drag on her huge pipe.  The crowds were immense, with people lining the streets all the way to St George’s Hall were things got really busy.  You couldn’t move as people waited for hours to see the giants, moving alongside and ahead of them just to get a quick look.   Saturday was topped off with an emotional finale at Clarence Dock with a touching scene, played out before veterans, of the Grandma and Little Girl sharing a hug and a dance, while the Lilliputians danced around the stadium together.  It really was a special moment.
